Complete Contest Rules

1. Enter giveaways by leaving a comment on each specific giveaway post unless otherwise indicated.

2. For extra entries, please leave a separate comment for each extra entry. For example, if the giveaway states you will receive 5 extra entries for writing a blog post, you would enter 5 separate comments.

3. You must follow Guide to Smart Shopping publicly via Google Friend Connect unless otherwise stated in specific giveaway. Duplicate accounts are not acceptable. If you are found to be following via multiple duplicate accounts all your entries will be voided and you will not be allowed to enter any future Guide to Smart Shopping giveaways.

4. You must include your email address in the comment form or have it visible in your profile. If we do not have an email to contact you at, your prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected.

5. Winners are selected randomly using a randomizer plugin from the comments. Winners will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to respond. Failure to respond within this time frame, forfeits your prize and a new winner will be selected. Selection and claim time frame may change depending on sponsor request.

6. Giveaways are open to U.S. residents unless otherwise specified in the giveaway.

7. Entries where the mandatory entry has not been completed first will be voided. Any entry that the additional entry requirement has not been met will be voided. Duplicate comments where the requirement for such entry has not been met will be voided.

Giveaway Disclaimer

All giveaway prizes will be shipped directly by the sponsor to the winner unless otherwise noted. The winner’s information will be forwarded to the sponsor. The winner will be notified of shipment details once they have been received from the sponsor. Please contact me if you have not received your prize within a reasonable amount of time and I will contact the sponsor to try to resolve the issue.

Guide to Smart Shopping will not be held responsible for lost or damaged packages. If such an issue should arise, I will do everything possible to mediate the situation. The sponsor is expected to honor their commitment to all giveaway winners and they will be held responsible for damaged, lost, or inaccurate prize items.

I will not be held responsible for technical problems beyond Guide to Smart Shopping’s control.

Guide to Smart Shopping reserves the right to modify a giveaway deadline and/or end a giveaway early without prior notice. All giveaway comments are very closely monitored. If it has been found that you have cheated, your comments will be deleted, and you will not be allowed to enter present or future giveaways at Guide to Smart Shopping. Cheating of any sort will not be tolerated.
